Can you get a refund in Foodpanda?
Yes, Foodpanda does give refunds according to their Terms and Conditions. But it needs to fall within their policy.
By default, the refund money will be sent to your original payment method. For COD orders, Foodpanda will ask you for your bank account details for the refund.
When can you get a refund in Foodpanda?
It’s important to know when you can request for a refund. But there are also times when the refund will automatically happen. Whatever the case is, here are the situations when you can get a refund in Foodpanda:
- When the vendor hasn’t accepted/made your order
- When the vendor cancelled your order
- When your order was delivered incomplete
- When you didn’t receive your order
- When you received unsatisfactory/damaged order/wrong order
These are the only reasons available and what we can think of for now that are acceptable for a refund.
We also had an experience where the food we ordered was not up to standards and Foodpanda provided a voucher.
But if you want to request a refund, you can do so.
How to get a refund in Foodpanda?
To ask for a refund, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Open Foodpanda and tap the menu icon on the upper left
Step 2: Select Help Center
Step 3: Tap Get help with my orders
Step 4: Select your order
Step 5: Tap don’t see your question here
Step 6: Start chat
With this, you can start chatting with a live agent. You need to provide all the details that they will ask. Ideally, you should also provide screenshots or images of your order.

How long is Foodpanda refund processing time?
The Foodpanda refund processing time will depend on your payment method. Here is the turnaround time for different payment methods:

Can I cancel my order in Foodpanda?
Yes, you can cancel your Foodpanda order if the vendor hasn’t accepted/made it yet. For instance, if you ordered food from Jollibee and it hasn’t been cooked/processed yet, it can be cancelled.
The best time to cancel an order is within five minutes of ordering. Sometimes Foodpanda will automatically cancel your order for various reasons.
This can include the vendor cancelling it, rider unable to locate you, or you don’t pick up your order within 20 minutes
Can I request for a refund if I didn’t like my food?
No. If you’re requesting for a refund based on the food not to your liking, you may not get a refund.
