Update: As of now, GCash DOESN’T offer any rebates when you buy load anymore. But, you can still get rebate when you buy load from PayMaya. Better yet, you can buy load from Shopee and Lazada to score some discounts!

What is rebates in GCash?

When you buy load using GCash, you will get back 5% of that load in your balance!

For instance, you buy a ₱20 load, then, you’ll get a rebate of ₱1.

But GCash only allows users to get up to ₱50 rebates for each month.

But even if that’s the case, this is still better than buying load at sari-sari stores since they even charge an extra ₱2!

This way, you can earn money just by loading. Or, you can even start a loading business from your home today.

How to Use Rebates in GCash?

To get rebates in GCash, you just need to buy load!

The rebates will automatically add back to your balance after you successfully buy load.

You can also see the rebates you’ve earned in GCash when you go to the Buy Load section.

To buy load in GCash, simply follow these steps:

1. Open your GCash app.

2. Tap the “Buy Load” feature.

3. Select the number that you want to buy load with. You can select from your contact list or you can manually type the number and tap “Next”.

4. Select the amount of load you want to buy. You can buy regular load or you can buy promos! Then, tap “Next”.

5. Then, you will just need to review if the amount and number is correct then tap the Pay button at the bottom.

That’s it, you should see the rebate added to your balance after loading.

How Much is the Rebates in GCash?

We’ve mentioned earlier that you’ll get 5% rebate when you buy load using GCash.

But each GCash user is limited only to ₱50 rebates for each month.

For some, this is still money earned. But for others, they may be looking for more.

So, if you want to know how GCash fares with other digital wallets when it comes to load rebates, check out this table:

If I buy load worth ₱1,500, how much will I get?
