FAQs

Does GCredit cover foodpanda as an official merchant?

Yes, foodpanda is officially covered by GCredit, as stated on the CIMB website.

You can also check the complete list of merchants.

What is the maximum amount I can buy in foodpanda?

There is no limit to the amount of food you can order in the foodpanda app, although there is a limit when using the GCredit feature of GCash.

Depending on your GScore and automatic increases, your credit limit can be P1,000 up to P100,000.

How much is the interest if I pay using GCredit?

The actual interest differs per GCredit user and how fast they pay their dues.

The interest rate for GCredit ranges from as low as one to seven percent based on your GScore.

Usually, it is around 4.5 to 5 percent for average users.

The good thing is that you don’t need to pay any interest if you settle your balance on the same day that you used GCredit for a transaction.

The interest is divided into 30 days, so you will only need to pay half of the maximum interest if you pay on the 15th day.

Foodpanda has nothing to do with the deadline of your GCredit dues, but it is not a fixed date.

Your billing cycle depends on when you first opened your GCredit account, but you can view it on the GCredit page.

Can I order daily with my GCredit limit?

If you are using GCredit to order food in bulk conveniently, you can use it repeatedly as long as you have already paid the used amount.

For example, if you spent P9,000 out of your P10,000 limit yesterday, you can spend up to P10,000 today if you already paid the P9,000 yesterday or even earlier today.

Note that the monthly cash-in limit for your GCash account could be P100,000 or P500,000 monthly if you have a linked bank account, GCash Plus, or Enterprise account.

Unlike credit cards, you can only pay your GCredit by having a balance in your GCash account.
