Wait for GCash to pay the bill – don’t close it immediately

We’ve seen a lot of users report that their PLDT bill wasn’t paid even though their GCash balance was deducted.

We’ve also experienced this a couple of times especially when first used GCash to pay our PLDT bills.

So, through experience, we’ve found that the common culprit seems to be when you’re at the last step of paying the bill.

After tapping the “Confirm” button, it will take around 30 seconds or less for the bill to be paid.

Users usually don’t know this so they just close the app while it’s loading. This causes the problems that a lot of users have reported.

But even if you face this problem, you don’t need to panic! You can simply wait for the payment to be posted within 24 hours if your GCash balance has actually been deducted.

But if you want to make sure that it’s been paid, you can contact GCash customer service!
