How to message sellers on Shopee
You can message a Shopee seller in four ways.
From the homepage
The first way to contact a seller on Shopee is to use the chat icon. This will work if you already have ordered from the seller before or if you have followed their shop.
Step 1: Launch the Shopee app on your phone.
Step 2: On the homepage, tap the chat icon on the top right of the screen. It should look like a chat bubble.
Step 3: Scroll to look for the seller you want to message and tap on their name. You can also use the search bar on top by typing in the seller’s username.
Step 4: Type your message in the message box.
Step 5: Hit send by tapping on the orange arrow button on the right side.
Step 6: Wait for the seller’s response.
From the order page
You can also message a seller for any of your pending orders.
Step 1: Open the Shopee app.
Step 2: On the bottom menu bar, tap on “Me” on the far right side.
Step 3: Tap on “To Ship” or “To Receive” to view your pending orders.
Step 4: Look for the concerned order and tap on it.
Step 5: Below the order details, there should be a button that says “Contact Seller.” Tap on it.
Step 6: This will open a chat box with the seller. Type in your message.
Step 7: Send the message by tapping on the orange send button.
Step 8: Wait for their response.
From seller’s shop page
If you haven’t ordered from the seller yet, you can go to their shop page by using the search bar.
Step 1: Open the Shopee app on your phone.
Step 2: Use the search bar on top to look for the seller’s shop.
Step 3: On their shop page, there should be a “Chat” button next to their icon. Tap on that button
Step 4: Type your message in the chat box.
Step 5: Send your message.
Step 6: Wait for them to reply.
