As Shopee eagerly promotes cashless transaction among its target market, such as the Philippines, it now offers its users to pay using their ShopeePay feature.

Steps to pay bills using ShopeePay
- From the Shopee app dashboard, choose ShopeePay and if you don’t have money yet, click Top Up and choose your desired amount.
- Choose your Payment Method (e.g. GCash, over the counter, online payment (online banking) then click Pay Now.
- Once your new balance is reflected on the app, you may now go to the Load, Bills & eServices Product Module then choose your desired service (e.g. Postpaid Mobile, Landline & Internet, TV Cable, Electricity, Water, Toll, Government services or loans).
- Choose the biller and provide the necessary details to make the payment (e.g. Account Name, Account Numbers, and Amount).
- Read the reminders before clicking Continue.
- Select your payment method and preferred voucher.
- Tap Pay Now when done, then key in your ShopeePay pin to proceed with the payment.
To get your cash back, click your account in the app (“Me”) the choose Digital Purchase.
Under To Receive, click Order Received to proceed with the cashback. This will reflect on the Shoppee coins you’ve accumulated.
Advantages of paying bills using ShopeePay
Among the advantages of paying bills using ShopeePay is that you won’t have to go out to pay your bills, hence preventing the risk of you and your family in contracting the corona virus.
Moreover, even if you weren’t able to pay your bill on its due date, ShopeePay still accepts late payments, hence you won’t have to personally visit any billing company satellite offices to settle your dues.
