What is RFID?

RFID stands for Radio-Frequency Identification, which works not only on roads but also on manufacturing, shop security, and even pets. An RFID reader automatically powers an RFID tag so that it may transmit data back to the receiver.

In the Philippines, we are most familiar with RFID as a technology used for toll payments.

You need to enroll your existing one with another operator so your account may be activated.

For example, you only have Easytrip, but you will be having a trip to South Luzon; you do not need to enroll for Autosweep anymore because you can enroll your Easytrip account under Autosweep’s system.

Don’t forget that it’s not immediate, so you need to do the enrolment process at least a day earlier.

What is the transaction fee for reloading RFID on GCash?

If you reload for Autosweep using GCash, there is a convenience fee of P10.

For EasyTrip, the convenience fee is just a little bit higher at P12.
