How to transfer UnionBank to GCash
There are two ways you can transfer money from your UnionBank savings account to your GCash wallet.
Via UnionBank Online
Step 1: Launch the UnionBank online app.
Step 2: Log in to your bank account.
Step 3: Tap the “Send Money” icon, which can be seen on the main dashboard.
Step 4: Choose “Other Banks and E-Wallets” from the list.
Step 5: Choose the transfer channel. It can be PESONet, Instapay, or PDTTS for US dollars.
Step 6: Select “GCash” from the drop-down menu.
Step 7: Input the GCash number, account name, amount to transfer, and the purpose of the transfer.
Step 8: Review and confirm the details of the transaction.
Step 9: Next, tap the “Transfer” button.
Step 10: Enter the 6-digit One-Time Password, which will be sent to your mobile number via SMS.
Step 11: Your money transfer is successful, and you should receive a notification.
Via UnionBank linked account
Step 1: Launch the GCash app on your phone and log into your account with your MPIN.
Step 2: Tap on the “Cash in” button next to your wallet balance.
Step 3: Select “UnionBank” as the source account.
Step 4: Enter the amount you want to transfer.
Step 5: Wait for the OTP to be sent to you via text message. Input the OTP.
Step 6: Your cash in transaction is now completed.
How much are the transfer fees?
Currently, UnionBank charges Php 10 per Instapay transfer from UnionBank to other banks and e-wallets. Fund transfers to other banks and e-wallets using PESONet are free of charge, as well as transfers to other UnionBank accounts.
